With a focus on competency development, aligned to learning outcomes, we run training for all project, program, and portfolio management staff. Our training covers project managers, program managers, portfolio managers, Project Management Office (PMO) staff, iteration managers, change leads, project sponsors, project governance stakeholders, team leads/line managers, and team members.
We have a modular approach to training, primarily structured around the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) supplemented by key aspects of PRINCE2, Managing Successful Programs (MSP), and Agile.
Planning and scheduling, as well as estimating and cost management, are clear strengths of ours. We are skilled in all aspects of project governance and control, as well as leadership soft skills.
We do not have scheduled training; instead we run courses based on client need. Typically these include:
- Planning using Microsoft Project (which includes Principles of Planning IT Projects)
- Microsoft Project Online user training (note this is not EPM admin training)
- Estimation and cost-management fundamentals (including introduction to earned-value management)
- Risk-management fundamentals (including introduction to Monte Carlo)
- Project and portfolio governance fundamentals

Not all senior managers, executives, and sponsors have a background in project management or project governance. More often than not they are appointed in governance roles due to their experience in the business.
Our coaching services are designed to support these staff members behind the scenes to assist with interpretation of information, understanding what they need to do, explaining how to deal with vendors, and to assist with decision-making.
Our coaching roles sometimes extend to helping run governance-related meetings – sometimes to establish them, mostly to improve them.
