Environmental policy

Core Consulting Group (CCG) recognises that it has a responsibility to the environment beyond legal and regulatory requirements. We are committed to reducing our environmental impact and continually improving our environmental performance as an integral part of our culture and operations.

We will continually refine ways we can reduce our carbon footprint through recycling, re-using, and switching off power sources.

In addition, we will encourage customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders to do the same as we seek to minimise printing and waste in our engagements.

Policy Aims

We will comply with and try to exceed all relevant regulatory requirements. CCG involves staff in the implementation and review of this policy, updating it at least annually.

Paper

We will minimise the use of paper in the office, reduce packaging as much as possible, buy recycled and recyclable paper products, and reuse and recycle where possible.

Energy and water

We will reduce the amount of energy used as much as possible, use green energy as part of our electricity supply, and switch off lights and electrical equipment when not in use. We will use heating adjusted with energy consumption in mind and be focused on energy consumption and efficiency when purchasing new products.

Office Supplies

We will evaluate the environmental impact of any new products we intend to purchase, favouring more environmentally friendly and efficient products where possible. We will reuse and recycle everything we can.

Transportation

We will reduce the need to travel, restricting it to necessary trips only and promoting the use of travel alternatives such as email or video/phone conferencing. We will maximise the use of public transport, walking, and cycling.

Maintenance and cleaning

Cleaning materials that we use will be as environmentally friendly as possible. Waste disposal will only be administered via licensed and appropriate organisations.
