Core Consulting Group (CCG) was engaged by a medium sized online service provider to Qantas. They were chosen to take over management of the Qantas Frequent Flyer (QFF) program. Our client was a specialist in the delivery of recognition, rewards and incentive programs, helping to many prominent Australian brands improve their business performance by tailoring the right employee recognition, sales incentive, dealer incentive or customer loyalty program to suit their specific business objectives and challenges.
CCG was engaged to manage the QFF project, working with personnel from Qantas and the client’s business to provide project management rigour on a project with a compressed timeframe and high stakeholder expectations. CCG worked to define the scope of the project, and develop the plan for what became a two phased project.
As a result of the strong up front planning and engagement, the first phase of the project went well. CCG worked with the client to up-skill an in-house resource which built the capability for the client to manage the second phase of the project themselves. This also provided the knowledge and experience for them to better project manage other initiatives they had.
