“A large Program PMO needed education and training to support cross skilling of PMO Resources. Core Consulting Group established key standards on behalf of the Program and provided training to PMO staff. This resulted in a series of standards adopted widely within Alcatel-Lucent and a more skilled and engaged PMO team able to fulfill different roles.“

Not all senior managers, executives and sponsors have a background in Project Management or Project Governance. More often than not they are appointed in Governance roles due to their experience in the business. Our coaching services are designed to support them behind the scenes, to assist with interpretation of information, understanding what they need to do, how to deal with vendors and to assist with decision making. Our coaching roles sometimes extend to helping run governance related meetings, sometimes to establish them, mostly to improve them.
