Being specialists in tools as well as governance, we can advise where process must provide the end outcome and on where process change will reap benefits. We advise customer’s on the right balance of process and flexibility within their project, program and portfolio environments, taking a pragmatic approach to ensure that the appropriate level of control is put in place.

PMO, Planning and Controls

We advise customers on the right balance of process and flexibility within their project, program and portfolio environments, taking a pragmatic approach to ensure that the appropriate level of control is used in the administration of the PMO within each organisation. We advise on effective combinations of Standards, Processes and Tools to develop project estimating and cost management capability appropriate for each organisation.

We understand the complexity of finance systems, process and policy together with funding, contingency and governance issues to find pragmatic solutions to ensure best practice cost management is achieved.

We understand the complexity of scoping and planning/scheduling to advise on achieving the optimal combination of Standards , Tools and Templates to develop project planning and scheduling skills appropriate for each individual organisation.

We understand Governance – both project and organisational so can advise on setting up governance controls which will help deliver strategic outcomes.

People and training

We can advise customers on the capability of individuals as well as advise on the best approach to upskilling staff. We can advise on recruitment strategy for Project Management related staffing and if need be help review candidates.

Toolsets

As we cover in detail in our EPM Tools pages, we advise customers on pragmatic requirements as well as the approach to selecting and configuring a range of project systems and tools. We also advise on recovery strategies where clients may have a toolset but it is poorly implemented and/or not utilised. We are experienced with Microsoft Project, Microsoft Project Server (EPM) and Project Online, Daptiv, EPMLive, Primavera, Bijingo and many others.  We are an accredited partner for Daptiv, EPMLive and Microsoft.
