Biota Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is a biopharmaceutical company focused on the discovery and development of anti-infective products to prevent and treat a number of serious and potentially life-threatening infectious diseases.

Biota engaged Core Consulting Group to evaluate the Earned Value reporting requirement associated with a large Defence tender to help them understand the implications from a practical and commercial nature and to teach them more about Earned Value Management. Using ANSI 748B as a basis for Earned Value system implementation, we looked at Biota’s existing Project Management and Accounting systems and processes, undertook a gap analysis and briefed their management team.

Assuming Biota wins the bid (which cannot be named for commercial reasons), we expect to be engaged to implement an EVMS, help them gain system validation and assist them through the Integrated baseline Review.
